Susan Perkins, PhD
BIOGRAPHY
By God’s grace, Dr. Susan Perkins, Founder and CEO of ColPer Research Inc., began her career as a managing editor for a college newspaper. She is the author of research articles and white papers on best practices in education and workforce development. She has decades of experience developing and implementing trainings for professionals in local, state and national settings. For a significant part of her career, she has been responsible for designing and implementing assessment protocols for educational, workforce development and research agencies. She has developed extensive expertise as an educator; policy maker; spokesperson for national, state and local entities; trainer; program/curriculum developer and administrator. She has led statewide teams in the expansion of access to educational and workforce development training for staff who serve more than 15,000 students annually. She specializes in planning engaging events, conferences and webinars that provide academics and staff from universities, school districts, community centers and public safety organizations with the support they need to see clear connections between what they are learning and their organizational career goals.
She and her husband have been married for more than twenty years. They are honored to serve as volunteer mentors–encouraging and being encouraged by–other married couples.
